Weave Brings In $15.5 mln Series B

LEHI, UT–(Marketwired – Nov 3, 2021) – Weave, the modern communication company for small and medium businesses (SMBs) that syncs with existing CRM and EMR software, today announced it has raised $15.5 million in Series B funding to accelerate the company’s impressive growth. This round, led by Crosslink Capital with participation from Pelion Ventures and Peak Capital, now brings Weave’s total funding to date to $22 million. Existing investors A Capital, Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, Geoff Ralston and Joe Montana also joined in this round. Weave also announced that David Silverman, partner at Crosslink Capital and Blake Modersitzki, managing director at Pelion Capital, joined the company’s Board.

“Weave has identified a hugely underserved market as small and medium-sized businesses clamor for a unified communication solution,” said David Silverman, partner at Crosslink Capital. “We’re thrilled to support Weave at this critical time of growth and believe the company is pioneering a new industry that will create an enduring, successful business.”

Weave’s growing customer base now counts more than 2,000 dental and orthodontic practices across the United States and Canada. Weave’s next-generation communication platform, which can be installed with little or no IT experience, allows customers to make more meaningful and painless connections with their customers. The platform integrates seamlessly with CRM and other patient databases to ensure that customer communication across email, text and voice remains fully integrated. Customers across the board report that confirmed appointments have increased dramatically and that patients continually experience a more pleasurable experience.

With this latest funding, Weave will continue to make investments in its technology and grow the company to realize its vision of becoming the future of small business communication. With Weave’s initial focus on dentistry and orthodontics, Weave has built an impressive technology platform that will continue broadening its focus to address the entire SMB market, combining multiple forms of communication into a unified platform while integrating customer data from CRM and business management software.
