Hubspot Named a 2015 Best Workplace for Women by FORTUNE.COM

From the section: Lead Mgmt News
October, 2015 |

Sep 30, 2021 7:21:11 AM  At HubSpot, we are proud to employ and empower a workforce that includes remarkable women at every level of our organization. Diversity is one of the pillars that helps drive company success, and nothing this company has accomplished could be possible today without the accomplishments of the many women within the HubSpot network, including current employees, alumnae, partners and customers.

For this reason, we're proud to announce that we've been named one of the 2015 Best Workplaces for Women by Fortune.com and Great Place to Work®.  We see this latest ranking as a result of the company’s tireless dedication to establishing a supportive and diverse workplace environment with an emphasis on gender inclusivity.

“This comes at a very exciting time for HubSpot,” said Katie Burke, Vice President of Culture and Experience. “As we seek to grow our global brand we will need to recruit even more talented and remarkable men and women, and being recognized as such an inclusive workplace underscores the values that HubSpotters hold dear.”

Among our many pride points for this distinction, this year HubSpot hosted multiple programs with Women Who Code and Girls Who Code, Women in Digital, as well as an INBOUND session on women participation on boards co-led by our two female board members, Stacey Bishop and Lorrie Norrington.

Winners of the 2015 Best Workplaces for Women were selected primarily from Great Place to Work® survey results, comprised of results from 135,689 women at 637 companies. Two-thirds of a company’s score relied on self-reporting by women in the workplace. Female employees submit a 58-part questionnaire about the workplace, the supportiveness of the company, and the degree of connection they feel with colleagues. The remaining one-third is calculated based on the level of diversity in the workplace, using representation of women and minorities as a proxy.
