Sales Lead Management Association Opens Nominations for “20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management in 2016”

Lynden, WA - - January 15, 2022 - - The Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) announced that their organization is accepting nominations for this year’s “SLMA 20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management” recognition program.  Nominations, accepted until midnight Monday, February 29, 2016, are for women working in marketing and sales for business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies, marketing automation software, digital lead generation, direct marketing agencies, traditional branding agencies, ERP and CRM software, telemarketing, database companies, and sales lead management firms. This is the sixth year for SLMA’s recognition program.

Only SLMA members (membership is free) are permitted to nominate women.  From those nominations, twenty will be selected as the “SLMA 20 Women to Watch in 2016.”   Winners, chosen by a panel of independent judges, will be announced on Friday, April 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. PST. 

“Many women,” said Jeanne Hopkins, CMO of Continuum Managed IT Services, “are significant contributors to the revenue of their companies via their important lead generation processes, but they go unrecognized. The Sales Lead Management Association has always done an excellent job in bringing attention to the importance of sales lead generation for the growth of any organization. I encourage SLMA members to nominate the women who are doing an extraordinary job so their accomplishments to sales can be highlighted, encouraging others to follow.”

Genie Parker, COO of VanillaSoft, said "I applaud the Sales Lead Management Association for recognizing the top women in the field.  A diverse workforce is essential to take a company to the next level in the 21st century.  The business environment is increasingly utilizing women's talents and potential. Recognition of women's accomplishments serves as a reminder to continue that trend."

Rebecca Corliss, Director of Marketing at of HubSpot said, "It's so important to shine a spotlight on the success being driven by female leaders across sales and marketing today. These women are a source of inspiration and encouragement for everyone in the field and I love what SLMA is doing to bring attention to their fantastic accomplishments."

SLMA Founder, James Obermayer, said “Very often those professionals creating the greatest wealth for their companies are the women in marketing, sales, technology, consulting, and the day-to-day management of sales leads, and they do not get the credit they deserve.  The SLMA addresses this oversight by shining a spotlight on women who build company wealth due to their contributions to sales lead management in some form.”

Nominees are judged on their contributions to marketing, sales, and sales lead management efforts.  Qualifications, such as book and article authorships, board positions, and speaking on behalf of the subjects of sales lead management and marketing ROI, are taken into account.  This program is not a popularity contest, it is a judged event.
