The Sales Lead Management Association announces that October 16-20, 2017 will be Sales lead Management Week. This is the tenth year for the program and companies are encouraged to bring attention to the discipline of sales lead management during this time.
This year the SLMA will offer a series of podcast programs that focus on how artificial Intelligence and machine learning are being used in sales lead management.
SLMA founder Jim Obermayer stated “Only the most savvy companies with seasoned CMO's know that sales lead management is a process and a corporate wealth management program because proper management of sales leads drives business growth. Weak or poorly directed sales lead management restrains growth and leaves room for competitors to gain market share over those that are foolishly ignoring this most basic tenet of good business practice. Sales Lead Management is a process not a theory, no SLM process and you're not competitive.
Why its important:
This week is an opportunity for those who bring value to B2B and B2C with lead management tools to prove how they create real, bottom line wealth for users.”
This is traditionally a week for software and service companies to provide webinars, seminars, podcasts, speeches and blog entries that discuss the importance of lead follow-up and ROI reporting for lead generation. “Managing inquiries,” Obermayer said, “Is managing sales.” This is the tenth year for Sales Lead Management Week.
