INDIANAPOLIS — (May 3, 2021) — PERQ (www.perq.com), a leader in marketing technology that increases website conversion by creating and delivering interactive experiences to the right consumers at the right time, has hired revenue expert and go-to-market specialist Jenny Vance as executive vice president, sales. At PERQ, Vance will oversee the FATWIN Web Engagement product, a premium website solution that collects five times the lead data and provides B2C clients with a typical lift in website conversion of 50-200 percent.
Introduced just last summer, FATWIN Web Engagement just reached its 100th customer, and surpassed its ambitious first year goal of $1 million in annual recurring revenue for the product within the first nine months.
"Adding Jenny to the team continues the heavy investment we have made over the last few years in adding great talent to attack the opportunity we saw in the marketplace. Now is the time to aggressively scale and we look forward to seeing the results Jenny will bring" said PERQ’s Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, Scott Hill.
“I spent the last seven months consulting with high-growth tech companies across the country, and the opportunity at PERQ was unlike anything I had seen,” said Vance. “This is a great opportunity for me to build on what’s working and put the pieces in place to enable the sales organization to scale dramatically.”
According to Vance, talent acquisition, training and performance will be key. She plans to double the number of account executives hired in 2016 and quadruple the number of sales development representatives.
“All the measures are on an upward trendline up for FATWIN Web Engagement,” said Vance. “Our average contract value is 100 percent over what was anticipated and our clients are pushing for as much functionality as we can provide.”
Vance will report to PERQ President and Co-founder Andy Medley.
“Building the best sales and marketing team starts with a world-class leader, and we’ve found that in Jenny,” said Medley. “Jenny has a strong record of challenging and coaching talented individuals so they reach their full potential. She brings a huge advantage to PERQ in helping us compete and win top talent, and keep that talent engaged. More importantly, she fits our strong culture perfectly.”
Vance is a well-known entrepreneur and sales visionary. She co-founded LeadJen, a lead generation company, which she grew to nearly 75 employees serving hundreds of companies across the United States, before stepping away last year. For five consecutive years, she was honored by the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) as one of the 50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management. She also was recognized by SLMA as one of 20 Women to Watch. Direct Marketing News and the Indianapolis Business Journal named Jenny to their 40 Under 40 lists, and she received the McDermond Medal for Excellence in Entrepreneurship in 2013. Under Jenny’s leadership, LeadJen was named a Mira Award winner by TechPoint in 2013 and was recognized as one of the 2012 Indiana Companies to Watch and was twice named to the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies.
Vance received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from DePauw University, where she was a Management Fellow.
