In the last few months each person who joined as a member of the SLMA was asked about their biggest problems. 117 new members answered the question; these are their answers. They could choose up to three issues (some choose more and we included them). The surprise to us is that Proving ROI was the least of their problems; Generating Qualified Inquiries ranked first with the most mentions.

Great stats and totally believable! From what I have seen, many companies are STARVING for leads and, worse yet, don't seem to effectively close the ones they do get. Cost-effective lead generation is a must for every company wanting to boost sales results. Thank You!

Of the new people joining the SLMA when asked about their biggest problems, only 15% said it was working with sales management on follow-up. In other words, generating inquiries and qualified lead s and managing the leads were biggest concerns.
